Ehukai Pillbox




Early Thursday, we went for another hike with my high school friend at ehukai pillbox also known as   Sunset Pillbox Hike. This place is located on the north shore, Haleiwa side; behind the sunset elementary school.
I can say It was a great and quite trail. There were so many great views from each pill boxes. The trail isn’t too hard, it’s a little steep at first but it evens itself out and the views are worth it. it was nice to see the bunkers that soldiers worked in. All in all, great hike, beautiful trees and great views of the Northshore ehukai beach.

    Thanks for this recommendation! I absolutely love hiking and am always looking for suggestions. I grew up on Oahu and I don't think I've ever heard of this hike before. I'll have to try it soon. Thanks for your post -- it's lovely!
